Here is a Drinking Chocolate Recipe
Oh Happy Day! Chocolate is actually good for us - YAY!Here's a rich & sensual recipe for a cup of liquid love to sweeten your Valentine's Day festivities. Consider this a fair warning: chocolate is known to be an aphrodisiac! Divinely Decadent Drinking Chocolate Recipe
~ 1 quart of milk, any kind, 1/2 & ~ 1/2 or nonfat, soy, or coconut.
~ 8 oz Chocolate bittersweet or semisweet, or both, chopped
~ 4 oz milk chocolate, chopped
~ a tiny smidgen of sea salt
Warm about 1/3 of the milk with the chocolates & salt, stirring constantly until melted. Add the rest of the milk & heat until thoroughly warm. Vigorously whisk the hot chocolate until completely smooth.
Serve piping hot with a poof of whipped cream, a cinnamon stick, chocolate curls, or a heart shaped marshmallow. For an exotic touch, substitute some of the milk with strong coffee, add a dash of hot chili into the mix. You can add a splash of liqueur such as rum, Bailey's or Kahlua at the end, or sprinkle with one of the infused finishing sugars found in our DIY Project Series.
