The scent for this balm is inspired by the sensual & exotic Monoi de Tahiti--an exquisite, handcrafted oil which comes from an ancient Tahitian island tradition of infusing the snow white Tiare flowers in coconut oil, exclusively grown in the volcanic, coral soils of French Polynesia.

The Tahitian Tiare, Gardenia tahitensis, is quite different from the equally prized Common Gardenia, Gardenia jasminoides, & naturally has its own unique scent. This precious oil's scent is uniquely Tahitian, drenched in tropical florals similar to gardenia, tuberose with hints of apple blossom.

In designing this decadent & sensual scent, I was looking to emulate the magical qualities of tropical air--warm, moist & elusive, rich & heady with exotic florals, and a light caress of gingery spice.

In Tahiti, the Tiare Gardenia flower is offered as a welcome & as an invitation to well-being. Gardenia is known as the Moonflower & is ruled by the Moon.

The consistency of Angel's Balm is very soft in warmer climates and more solid in cooler climes, similar to how butter softens when left out of the fridge. Either way, it readily melts on contact with the skin, spreads evenly and absorbs quickly, leaving a your skin soft, glowing & moisturized, not overly oily. Angel's Balm is a much lighter-weight than our Shea Butter Balms.

80% Organic Ingredients: Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) oil, Organic Shea (Butyrospermum parkii fruit), Monoi de Tahiti (Cocos Nucifera – Gardenia tahitensis), Organic Beeswax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol), Organic Citrus sinensis dulcis (orange) peel oil, Organic Citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil, Organic Cananga Odorata flower oil, Squalene (Olive), Wild-harvested Cymbopogon martini var Sofia oil, Wild-harvested Boswellia carterii oil, Citrus aurantium amara (orange) leaf oil & lots of love!!
